SmartSerenity began with a frustration. Most "smart" homes weren't actually smart โ they were noisy. Apps that didn't talk to each other. Devices that needed constant attention. Technology that demanded more from us, not less.
We started SmartSerenity to design systems that worked the way homes should: quietly, reliably, in the background. Always there when you need them. Invisible when you don't.

We don't sell gadgets. We design systems. Every project starts with how you live โ your routines, your priorities, your space โ and only then do we choose the hardware to bring it to life.

We use industry-standard protocols (Matter, Thread, Z-Wave) so your system stays current as the world changes. No proprietary lock-in. Nothing that goes obsolete in two years.

From a single installation to a full studio, here's how SmartSerenity came to be.
Founded in Abuja
SmartSerenity opens its first studio with a small team of three engineers and one designer โ all united by a frustration with how complicated home automation had become.
First 100 homes
By the end of our first year, we'd installed in 100 homes across Abuja and Kaduna. Word spread quickly โ clients told friends, architects started recommending us.
Lagos & Port Harcourt
Expanded operations to Lagos and Port Harcourt. Launched our certified-installer training program to make sure every install meets the same SmartSerenity standard.
The Shop launches
We open our online shop, making professionally-vetted smart-home devices available to everyone โ not just full-installation clients. Shipping nationwide.
